Dancing with the Stars Arizona is the NKF AZ dance competition featuring Arizona's community superstars partnered with professional dance instructors for dazzling performances. Held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, funds raised by this event benefit the patient services and programs of the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona. Path to Wellness is a FREE community health screening program providing blood and urine testing, which is evaluated onsite is using point-of-care testing devices to assess the risk of diabetes, heart and kidney diseases. Those screened are also presented with chronic disease management education, an overall health assessment (weight, blood pressure, etc.) and a one-on-one consultation with a physician. Enrollment opportunities are offered for a follow-up 6-week series of Healthy Living workshops that teach chronic disease self-management skills.

Camp Kidney is a camp devoted to Arizonians, ages 8-18 experiencing kidney disease, kidney failure and other renal issues. This special camp, hosted in Prescott, provides a unique opportunity for these kids to just be kids, while in a safe and medically-equipped camp. The camp is run by NKF AZ staff and volunteers, many of which are medical professionals. Campers can ride the zip-line, shoot archery, participate in Color War competitions and cook s'mores on the campfire.
