The National Kidney Foundation of Arizona’s Hero to Hero Campaign is ready to hit the bigtime! Now that we’ve reached 75% of our goal, we are turning to the public so that you can help us to cross the finish line and truly be the Hero your neighbors need!
One in 7 people in Arizona has kidney disease, a condition that is the 9th leading cause of death in the United States. This debilitating disease is made even more frightening by the fact that 90% of people who have it, have no idea. That’s why it’s called the Silent Killer. But with your help, we are SILENT NO MORE!
The Hero to Hero Campaign raises funds to not only support the existing, life-saving patient aid programs of the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, but it also has created new ones, like Camp Kidney, a camp specifically for kids with kidney issues, and a pilot program to help incentivize home dialysis. You can help lift the burden of more than a million people in Arizona struggling with kidney disease.
